JUIDA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Luxembourg Drone Federation (LDF) in May 2024.

■Mission of Luxembourg Drone Federation (LDF)
– Flight training center: reflection on drone pilot certification
– Development of a simplified flight authorization procedure for operators
– Legal practical training on 3 axes:
– Compliance with DAC regulations
– Respect of privacy
– Respect of the RGPD
– Workshops/Networking between operators and DAC
– Collaboration with the administrations of the bordering countries
– Drafting of specifications for drone operators (technical and legal)
– UAV and UAV component certifications outside the EU

LDF and JUIDA will cooperate with each other with a focus on technology and education, contributing to the progress and development of the UAV markets in both countries.
