JUIDA Signs MOU with the Czech-Taiwanese Business Chamber at TADTE 2025
Taiwan as a Gateway for International Exchange
On September 20, 2025, the final day of the Taiwan Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE 2025) in Taipei, the Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Czech-Taiwanese Business Chamber (CTBC). The signing ceremony took place at CTBC’s exhibition booth, where representatives from Czech aerospace and drone-related companies gathered alongside the Japanese delegation, creating a highly international and collaborative atmosphere.
This agreement marks JUIDA’s 44th international partnership. It represents a symbolic step in building a framework for collaboration with an eye toward expanding into the European market, further strengthening JUIDA’s international presence.
Practical Engagement with Czech Companies
Following the signing ceremony, a networking session was held with Czech aerospace and drone-related companies. Direct discussions between industry leaders from both countries went beyond a formal agreement, sparking dynamic exchanges on concrete avenues for cooperation. By linking Europe’s advanced technologies with Japan’s strong industrial foundation, this initiative opens new doors of opportunity for both sides.
During this visit to Taiwan, JUIDA also had the opportunity to briefly reconnect with the CEO of AUVSI, the world’s largest drone association and one of JUIDA’s MOU partners, reaffirming mutual friendship in the spirit of global collaboration. Such encounters highlight Taiwan’s role as a hub where meaningful international exchanges naturally emerge.
Taiwan as a Crossroads of International Cooperation
The MOU signing and subsequent engagements underscored the special role Taiwan plays as a crossroads for international exchange. Serving as a platform that connects Asia, Europe, and the broader world, TADTE 2025 provided JUIDA with a stage to take its international cooperation in the drone industry to the next level.
The agreements and encounters in Taiwan symbolize more than business partnerships—they reflect trust, friendship, and a shared commitment to shaping the future of the drone industry together. Building on this global network, JUIDA will continue to promote institutional development, joint research, and market expansion, contributing to worldwide collaboration and growth in the field of unmanned systems.
