Strategic Dialogue Between Taiwan Drone Related Ministry, Private-Sector Organizations and JUIDA
This autumn, JUIDA had the privilege of hosting numerous international visitors, creating valuable opportunities for active and meaningful exchanges of ideas with participants from around the globe. During this period, we welcomed Minister Guo of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and engaged in highly productive and constructive discussions with JUIDA’s leadership, including President Shinji Suzuki and other board members.
JUIDA provided a comprehensive overview of its achievements over the past decade since its establishment, highlighting how its activities have contributed to and aligned with the growth of Japan’s drone industry. Additionally, we emphasized the pivotal timing for Japan’s drone market to gain increased global attention. This was underlined by discussions on the upcoming “Japan Drone & IAAM 2024” in Kansai this December, the “Japan Drone & IAAM 2025” scheduled for next June, and the significant role drones will play in the 2025 World Expo (Osaka-Kansai Expo).
JUIDA also had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Taiwan’s private-sector drone organizations. The discussions were conducted in a harmonious and constructive atmosphere. This meeting served as a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the importance of mutual cooperation between Japan and Taiwan in driving technological innovation and market expansion in the drone industry for both countries.
Through these visits, JUIDA believes it has taken a significant step forward in strengthening international collaboration and advancing the development of the drone industry on a global scale.
