Visit to Taiwan TAITRONICS

JUIDA INFO

Invited by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), I had the privilege of attending the landmark 50th TAITRONICS (Taipei International Electronics Show) in late October 2024. Established in 1970, TAITRA is a semi-governmental organization that plays a vital role in supporting Taiwan’s electronics industry by enhancing the global competitiveness of Taiwanese companies and promoting their access to international markets.

This year’s TAITRONICS focused on themes such as “AI,” “Satellites,” and “Drones,” featuring 230 companies across 510 booths. The exhibits showcased cutting-edge technologies leveraging Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductors, IoT, and smart city innovations. Of particular interest was the “Drone Taiwan” special exhibition area, where 25 companies demonstrated Taiwan’s distinctive technological prowess through products such as flight simulators and consumer drones.

During the visit, a 50th-anniversary ceremony was held, bringing together government officials, prominent organizations, and leaders of major companies to celebrate the growth of Taiwan’s electronics industry. The event also featured international business matching opportunities and speeches by multinational corporations, fostering a platform for new business opportunities.

This visit provided a valuable opportunity to witness the exceptional capabilities and passion driving Taiwan’s electronics and technology industries firsthand.
